About Venetian Pool

The Venetian Pool is one of Miami's most beloved and unique attractions — a stunning public aquatic facility carved from a limestone quarry in 1923 and transformed into a Mediterranean-inspired oasis in Coral Gables. Fed entirely by a natural underground aquifer, the pool holds over 820,000 gallons of fresh spring water, refilled daily.

Visitors swim beneath two cascading waterfalls, explore cave-like grottos, and lounge on a small sandy area surrounded by terracotta-roofed buildings and wrought iron balconies. Admission is $18 for non-resident adults, $12 for children (ages 3–12).

Coral Gables residents enjoy a reduced rate of $7 for adults and $6 for children. The facility offers locker rentals, a concessions stand, and limited lounge chair rentals.

Children must be at least 3 years old and 38 inches tall to enter. Whether you're a history buff, a family looking for a cool escape, or a first-time visitor to Miami, the Venetian Pool delivers an unforgettable experience unlike any other pool in the country.

Weekday mornings (Tuesday–Friday, 10–11 a.m.) are the least crowded times to visit Venetian Pool. The cooler months from November through March offer the most comfortable conditions for swimming outdoors in Miami, with shorter wait times than the summer peak. Spring Break week in late March sees extended hours but also significantly higher crowds.
