Fairchild is beautiful year-round but is most comfortable during Miami's dry season from October through April, when temperatures are cooler and humidity is lower — ideal for exploring the outdoor gardens. Special festival weekends such as the Mango Festival and Chocolate Festival draw very large crowds and tickets should be purchased well in advance. Summer visits can be hot and humid but camps and family programs keep the garden lively.
