Lowe Art Museum

The Lowe Art Museum is the University of Miami's premier art museum, located on the Coral Gables campus. Since its founding in 1950, the Lowe has grown into a leading cultural institution serving as both a teaching resource for the university and an art destination for Miami residents and visitors.

The collection spans over 5,000 years, covering ancient and baroque art, American and contemporary works, Asian ceramics, Native American basketweaving, and glass art, including a dedicated Palley Pavilion for contemporary glass. Visitors can join expert-led tours (some in Spanish), family art workshops, and artist lecture series throughout the year.

Admission is free with a reserved ticket. The museum is wheelchair accessible, offers on-site parking, and is a manageable stop for an afternoon on campus.
