Coral Castle is one of South Florida's most extraordinary and enigmatic attractions, located in Homestead just south of Miami. Between 1923 and 1951, Latvian immigrant Edward Leedskalnin single-handedly excavated, carved, and moved over 1,100 tons of oolitic limestone using only basic tools — a feat that continues to baffle engineers and scientists to this day.

Visitors explore an outdoor sculpture garden filled with massive hand-carved furniture, astronomical instruments, a world-renowned Sundial with seasons, a Polaris telescope, and a perfectly balanced 9-ton gate that opens with a fingertip.
