Know Before You Go

  • Complete the online waiver carefully before arriving — multiple visitors found the multi-step form confusing and experienced delays at check-in.
  • Arrive at opening on weekends (8 AM Saturday/Sunday) — Saturday midday reaches near-full capacity and equipment availability may be limited.
  • The paddle across Biscayne Bay to Raccoon Island is physically demanding; be prepared for open-water conditions and bring water.
  • Both free and paid parking lots are on site — arrive early on weekends to secure a free spot.
