Haulover Park

Haulover Park is a sprawling 1.4-mile beach park just north of Miami Beach, wedged between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway near Bal Harbour and Sunny Isles Beach.

It's home to the largest remaining stretch of undeveloped beachfront in Miami-Dade County, with lifeguard-patrolled swimming areas, soft white sand, and a world-renowned clothing-optional section on its northern third that's family-oriented and staffed by beach ambassadors. Beyond the sand, visitors find a dog beach and off-leash bark park, a marina (Bill Bird Marina) for boating and fishing, picnic shelters with grills, a skate area, volleyball courts, and kite-flying with Skyward Kites.

A weekly food truck gathering adds a local social scene on Tuesday evenings. Parking runs $7 to $10 per car depending on the day, and admission to the park itself is free.
