Mama Tried

Mama Tried is a 2,250 sq ft upscale dive bar in the heart of Downtown Miami that has anchored the local nightlife scene since June 2018. Decorated in 1970s-inspired eclectic style with dim lighting and a cozy, unpretentious atmosphere, it draws a fiercely loyal crowd of locals, tourists, and everyone in between.

The cocktail program is the real star — expect inventive drinks like the Tiramisu Espresso Martini, Porn Star Martini, and the bold Something Spicier mezcal creation — all at approachable prices. Happy hour runs daily from opening to 8PM.

The eclectic music program pays tribute to old school classics and new hits, and the bar has pioneered Miami's first emo night and a signature K-pop night. A pool table, little library, and dance floor round out the experience.
