Bar Kaiju

Bar Kaiju is a cocktail bar on the second floor of The Citadel in Little River, built around a concept that pairs craft cocktails with kaiju and monster lore from around the world. The drink menu reads like a trading card game, with cocktails named after creatures such as Godzilla, Rodan, Groot, and El Cuco, each one explained by the bartenders as they serve it.

Expect creative builds like a Japanese-whiskey highball with cherry-blossom vermouth or a spicy mezcal margarita finished with a lollipop, alongside snacks and a rotating food collaboration with Mattari Suru, including corn dogs and sliders. The neon-lit, monster-decorated room fills up on weekends, with Godzilla movies playing on loop and a small speakeasy-style seating area with couches.

The space is intimate and dimly lit, drawing couples on date night as well as groups celebrating something. Downstairs, The Citadel's food hall and free parking lot round out the experience, making Bar Kaiju an easy stop before or after exploring the rest of the complex.
